Defending yourself with a firearm in your own home is unfair.

According to this story “here”, 3 teens broke into a home in Oklahoma last week. The teens were armed with brass knuckles and a knife. The homeowners son used an AR-15 rifle to defend against the intruders. All 3 of the invading teens were killed.

The grandfather of one of the teens is quoted as saying that the fight was unfair because the victim used an AR-15 in self defense. I don’t care if the kid used a grenade launcher to defend himself. He is alive and his attackers won’t be able to hurt him or anyone else again.

It is sad the three people lost their lives. It should not have happened because they should not have been there and been engaged in criminal activity and assault. The only unfairness here is blaming the victim.
