Just relocated to Colorado form Nevada
I currently looking for a place to shoot with having to pay a membership. I have three kids 15, 13 & 11 and love to shoot 22's. I went to Cherry Creek and spent $60 for us to shoot for an hour. Please let me know if this is typical?

That sounds pretty typical for that amount of people. I know The Shootist is $19 entrance, no time limit. You can even leave and come back on the same day and not pay again (you'll need the receipt).

But if you go frequently, consider a membership somewhere. A few hundred dollars per year at some places will get you into the range at discounted rates or no cost. I am a member at Bristlecone, and don't have to pay except for ammo and targets - unless I bring my own of those, too.

Last I checked the Firing Line was $14 per person. Unlimited time if there wasn't a wait list.
