I should buy a Glock 17 or a Glock 19.
What are the disadvantages of the 17 versus the 19?
What would I lose by choosing the 17 over the 19?
How much for a new Glock 19 gen 4?

In Colorado, 5 rounds.
Glock 17 has a 17 round magazine, which is illegal [new]. So it's only available with 10 round magazines to Colorado residents.
Glock 19 has a 15 round magazine, which is legal.
I have heard of 15 round Glock 17 magazines, but I've only heard of them. And why buy a longer grip that you can't use?
This is why Glock-wise the 19 has become the Colorado sweet-spot carry gun. As well as being an excellent gun all on its own.
When seconds count, the police are mere minutes away...
They'll never take your "hunting rifle", they'll call it a "sniper rifle" first.
Gun registration is gun confiscation in slow motion.
Zero failures comes at infinite cost.
You are the FIRST responder. Police, fire and medical are SECOND responders.
By eliminating fear of guns you'll put fear back in criminals.
Plus 17's are like, so , yesterday.
