Who's hunting and what are you after?

Gonna be a good year if I get all my tags I put in for.

This year:

  1. Small game and fishing.
  2. Mule Deer archery area 104, 105 & 106.
  3. Pronghorn rifle area 105. (Gonna try to get an OTC for archery)
  4. Elk rifle area 80.
  5. Spring Turkey over the counter

This is going to be an excellent year for me...

1. Fishing, All Year
2. Spring Turkey, Over-The-Counter
3. Deer, 2nd Rifle Season, Area 49
4. Elk, 3rd Rifle Season, Area 54
5. Small Game (Rabbits)

Yes - I will need to purchase a larger freezer.

Elk rifle third over counter
Preference point Elk for muzzleloader unit 76 6-7 more years to go
Bear for rifle sept hunt
Spring turkey

Did anyone have any luck thus far? I harvested a buck on opening day of second season (GMU 49). He was on the ground by 8:12AM. I wasn't as lucky with elk... GMU 54, third season. Hopefully, next year will be my year for an elk.

i wish i knew someone with land and bird dogs so I could hunt quail, pheasant and hunt some rabbit.
