School districts should allow staff to carry weapons
I've always liked the idea of arming teachers. Compared to other plans, it's easy, cheap and can be implemented in a short time frame. But I'm afraid that unless you have a big buy in from the teachers themselves, you just won't have the right people in the right place at the right time.

I've come to think we should follow the example of our political elite. Walls and fences, armed guards and metal detectors. Isn't that what they do for themselves? Our great leaders that waste our money on all sorts of stupid stuff start to worry about spending our money when it comes to protecting our children. Most of them send their kids to private schools that already have increased security.

I also wanted to give everyone a heads up about disciplinary measures that were adopted during the Obama years. For the sake of not getting troubled kids a police record that could affect them in their adult life, some schools no longer turn violent troublemakers over to the police. It appears that's what happened at Parkland Fl. Here's a link that gives some background on that BS. We need to get rid of this in the interest of public safety.

One of the greatest fears politicians have is seeing an angry guy with lots of guns charging down the street, because they know he’s probably on his way to commit an act of voting.
